Thanksgiving Day

As you know, Thanksgiving is an important day for Americans. No matter how far they are, families meet and have dinner together. But, where does this tradition come from? I'm sorry but the videos are not available any more. I will try to find another one. Meanwhile you can write whatever you consider interesting about Thanksgiving!

Besides, we will watch the film V for Vendetta and we will discuss about how the story in the film resembles what happened on 5th November, 1605. As a warm up, you can watch the trailer. Cyberbullying

This morning I read Amanda Todd's story on the newspaper and I was shocked. This girl committed suicide ten days ago after suffering cyberbullying through facebook. This is a serious matter since most of us "share" part of our lives through the social networks. We should think carefully about the pictures and information we upload because that will be out there forever. Amanda told her story on youtube a month before dying. You can watch it yourself.
Do you use tuenti, facebook or twitter? Are you accounts private? Do you upload photos? What do you think about Amanda's story?

Twilight is a series of four vampire-themed fantasy romance novels by American author Stephenie Meyer. Let's start with a puzzle

There are four cars - a red one, a white one, a blue one and a green one. They belong to four friends - John, David, Amy and Mary and are parked next to each other in a street. Amy's car is to the right of the blue car, which is to the right of Mary's. John doesn't like white or blue cars. David's car is not next to John's car and is next to a red car. John and Mary are the only two who have letters in their name which are also in the colours of their car. Who drives which car?

Who will be the first one to solve the puzzle?
